Confused about how to submit a design review application? We're here to help!
Before getting started, review the Design Guidelines to understand any modification limitations and ensure your project is in compliance.
Be sure to submit your application well before your desired start date. All exterior changes to your home, including repainting or landscaping, require written approval before any work begins. The Design Review Committee (DRC), management team, and Board meet monthly to review requests.

A team member will contact you if your application is incomplete, missing information (photos, sketches, etc.), or if additional information is needed.
Decisions are emailed to homeowners within 30 days. If approved, you can move forward with your project!
All submittals require the following:
- A plot plan/survey of your lot showing the location of the improvement
- Current color photos of the area to be modified
- All measurements and specific dimensions
- Renderings, sketches, or examples of the proposed improvement
If your project requires the Town of Gilbert or Maricopa County permits/approvals, they must be obtained before you start the project.
