DESIGN REVIEW
The Bridges at Gilbert community design guidelines are unique to our community. The guidelines allow for creativity and diversity while maintaining a balance with the natural desert landscape. The guidelines provide an overall framework for harmonious design and criteria for size, style, materials, and color.

Most visible changes to your home require advance approval by the Design Review Committee. Visible is defined as "seen from the street, neighboring property or through an open view fence." The Design Review Committee uses our approved, published Design Guidelines to make sure changes are compliant.
The process is easy. Our Community Manager, or Administrative Assistant are happy to assist you with making sure your application is complete.
Application
The first step of the design review process is submitting an ARC Request Form.
The ARC Request Form must include a Plot Plan indicating the location of the requested improvement, a current, color photo of the area to be renovated, all applicable measurements, specific dimensions, and any descriptions or sketches.

Design Review Process
After receiving your application, the management team will review it to ensure it's complete and ready for review.
If your application is missing components, we'll reach out to you requesting additional information.
Architectural Review applications will be reviewed within thirty (30) days. All decisions will be communicated to residents in writing.

Once approved, all work must be completed within 90 days of the approval unless an extension is requested in writing and approved by the Design Review Committee.
If your project requires the Town of Gilbert or Maricopa County permits/approvals, they must be obtained before you start the project.
